What?

The Bears beat the Cardinals 24-23 tonight after being down 20 points at the half and scoring NO OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWNS during the game. They were squarely beaten in every single category: rushing, passing, turnovers (oh don't get me started). Okay, get me started. 6 turnovers for the Bears. Six. To Arizona's 2. Passing is funny too, Bears 134 to Cardinals 220. Even the time of possession is ridiculous. What happened here? My theory is that I turned the game off.

This sort of stuff doesn't happen. Not in football. You don't win from being down 23-10 in the fourth. What happened? The Defense happened (note the capital D) and for a second it felt like it was 2 years ago Bears football, no offense to speak of. On that note, Sexy Rexy and I are not on speaking terms.

I just have to say, Matt Leinart is good good good, and as crappy as it is that he dated Paris Hilton who doesn't know a football from her chihuahua, he will be an amazing quarterback. It really sucks that they had to lose after playing that well.

Hey Emmers,

Had to check out Chickball to see your post this morning -- that game was insane -- an epic battle to see which team could do more losing, and the Cardinals won by far. BTW, best post-game ever:
The Bears are who we thought they were!

Remember when Leinart was going out with Jessica Simpson's personal assistant, CaCee Cobb? That was a weird time. I still can't get over what an ass he was during the UT bowl game.

And for the record, I did end up opting for Studio 60 over MNF. :P Bad Suzie!

Yeah...when exactly did the Bears stop sucking at life? I must have been living under a rock for a few years.
